Our lactic acid bacteria
PROBIO-TEC™ lactic acid bacteria drops and capsules contain two patented strains: the most widely studied Bifidobacterium strain, BB-12™ (Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis), and LGG™ (Lactobacillus rhamnosus), the most documented probiotic strain in the world. The products were developed by the world-renowned probiotic developer Chr. Hansen; the LGG™ strain from their portfolio is certainly familiar to many. The Chr. Hansen production strain has remained stable and genomically identical for the past 25 years. The LGG™ strain has been described in over 250 publications covering human studies. Laboratory studies have shown that the LGG™ probiotic strain possesses high tolerance to bile and acid—characteristics that are crucial for a probiotic strain to survive and colonize the gastrointestinal tract. The lactic acid bacteria drops contain 68% patented LGG™, while the capsules contain 50% patented LGG™.
The BB-12™ bacterium has been extensively studied across various demographics—including newborns, premature infants, children, pregnant women, adults, and the elderly—with no safety concerns. Chr. Hansen’s BB-12™ strain has demonstrated 100% genomic stability over decades, reflecting excellent stability during use, heat resistance during administration, and stability during storage. Laboratory studies have shown that BB-12™ survives exceptionally well in both acidic gastric conditions (pH 2.5) and a 1% porcine bile solution. These properties enable the probiotic strain to survive the journey through the digestive tract. The lactic acid bacteria drops contain 32% and the capsules 50% of the patented BB-12™ Bifidobacterium strain, which has been used in infant formula, follow-on formula, and fermented dairy products since 1986.

Daily dose
The daily dose of PROBIO-TEC™ is 6 drops, containing 1 billion colony-forming units of lactic acid bacteria (68% LGG™ and 32% BB-12™). The daily dose of the lactic acid bacteria capsules is 1 capsule, containing 7 billion colony-forming units of lactic acid bacteria (50% LGG™ and 50% BB-12™).
For the whole family
Our lactic acid bacteria are suitable for the whole family, from infants to the elderly. Both strains of lactic acid bacteria have been studied in infants and adults.
Additive free
In addition to lactic acid bacteria, the lactic acid bacteria drops contain only sunflower oil.
When to use?
It is recommended to take lactic acid bacteria during and after a course of antibiotics, while traveling, for digestive issues, and to strengthen the immune system. It is recommended to take lactic acid bacteria as a course of treatment.
