Why magnesium is important?
Magnesium is the body's second most abundant intracellular cation—a positively charged molecule—and is involved in over 300 metabolic processes. An adult human body contains approximately 25 g of magnesium, with 54% located in the bones and 45% in the muscles and other soft tissues. Although magnesium is found in almost all foods, magnesium intake has declined, particularly in Western countries.
Magnesium plays an important role in cellular metabolism and the synthesis of DNA, RNA, and proteins. Magnesium is essential for regulating muscle contractions, blood pressure, insulin metabolism, cardiac excitability, the dilation and constriction of blood vessels, and nerve transmission.
Magnesium bisglycinate
We use highly bioavailable magnesium bisglycinate in the product, which is also gentler on the digestive system (magnesium has a laxative effect, meaning it softens the stool). Additionally, the amino acid glycine—contained in magnesium bisglycinate —has a calming effect.
100% pure powder
The magnesium powder contains 100% magnesium bisglycinate, and nothing else.
Magnesium as powder
The daily dose of 4 ml can be split into two separate intakes (2 ml x 2). The magnesium powder has a high pH, which gives it a distinctive taste. Mix the powder into a strong-tasting juice or mineral water. A measuring spoon is included in the jar. The measuring spoon also makes it easy to reduce the daily dose if necessary.
Pure natural magnesium
We use the renowned Zechstein Inside® magnesium chloride in the product, sourced from the ancient Zechstein Sea. It is considered the world's purest natural source of magnesium.
Additive free recipe
Magnesium oil contains only water and magnesium chloride. In this form, the product remains stable for years when unopened and for at least three years after opening.

Magnesium oil is packed in Estonia. All Zechstein Inside® magnesium products are manufactured in the Netherlands.
